Adult Semipalmated Sandpiper in Breeding Plumage Foraging in Green Water with Full Reflection, Ohio

This is another image from my second trip up to Lake Erie in Ohio. My friend Alex Mody and I layed in the mud in the same spot for most of the afternoon, waiting for any shorebirds to come close enough to photograph. Eventually, they were oblivious to our presence, often walking much too close to even photograph. In this image, I captured a beautiful Semipalmated Sandpiper with its full reflection.
