Beautiful Camping Location, West Virginia

It’s been a while! My trip to West Virginia was awesome, and also cut short by a detour up to a location with many species of shorebirds in Ohio!

In West Virginia, the photo opportunities were a bit few and far between, although we did get one decent sunrise. With that said, I came back with a ton of awesome memories. My friend Alex and I slept out on a flat slab of rock at an overlook without any tent or tarp. Only our sleeping pads and bags! To top things off, we saw a meteor at least every minute, with some so big that they left visible smoke trails. I don’t think I will forget those few nights for a long time to come. Before I get into any of my photos from the trip, I’m going to dedicate this first blog post to some of the pictures taken of myself and our campsite. Thanks for looking.
