Hey everyone,

I recently lost the copy of Photoshop I was using (borrowed). I know right, how professional. Anyways, until I’m able to purchase a prohibitively expensive copy for myself, I won’t be posting any new images, as I cannot process any. The good news is, when I do get a copy I’ll have a fun time going through my likely extensive backlog of RAW files, with many blog posts to accompany them.

I may post older images from time to time, but the real fun for me is with the new ones. Goodbye for now!

In about an hour I’ll be starting the long drive to upstate New York for a little 1 week vacation. It’s mostly going to consist of relaxing and hanging out with family and friends, but hopefully I’ll get some photo ops mixed in. We’ll find out!

Now I can focus on getting more new images, and updating my website as they come in, instead of slaving over the computer to update old photos!

Well – it’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally made some major revisions to my website. Over the course of the past year, I have been working on adding thousands of my images to my website so that everyone can view them. I’m almost done with that task, but have decided to phase in some of my completed galleries now instead of waiting for the whole thing to be completed.

Hi everybody,

Sorry for the lack of content lately. I went to the highlands of West Virginia last week to photograph fall color and had a very successful trip. The color was amazing! Unfortunately, upon returning home, my accurate color-calibrated monitor faded to black and never turned on again. I’m now using a really bad monitor pulled up from the depths of my basement closet. To say that I can’t accurately process images due to the monitor having horrible contrast and color is an understatement. Because of all of this, I will likely be taking a little break on the blog until I can acquire a new monitor to process my new images.

Thanks for the understanding … and know that I can’t wait to get back on here posting new images. Hopefully it won’t be too long!

Hi everyone,

My sincere apologies for not having any new entries over the past, well, week. I’ve been busy training for my new job at REI, and while I could have been out shooting a bit, I just haven’t been up to it lately. I’m feeling the need to get back out there again, so, with any amount of luck, I’ll hopefully have some new images to show soon. I’m about to leave for a training seminar in 20 minutes today, so I won’t be showing any new (old) images. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the patience!

No new image for today, but I did want to pass along some good news. Two of my images of Northern Gannets are currently published in the July 08′ issue of Delaware Beach Life. The photos accompany an article on the large groups of Northern Gannets that move into the Delaware Bay during late winter. If you have access to the magazine, pick up a copy and have a look!

Not wanting to go for long periods of time without posting, I wanted to give you all a bit of an update about my absence. I’m currently in upstate New York visiting my grandparents and cousins without my computer to process images. I have gotten some great images, but mostly this has been about relaxing with family. I’ll be back in Virginia Thursday afternoon and expect to be processing and posting some new images by then. Thanks for the patience, and take care!
