Thanks for chiming in. I struggled for a good long time with the crop, going between exactly what you suggested and the crop seen here. In the end, for some reason, I just preferred it this way. When it was down and to the left a bit things didn't seem quite right, even if in my head it seemed that the crop should be that way.

I'm not the best at guessing sizes, but I'd say he was about 5 inches wide. Really a cool moth.
