Cirrus Cloud Abstract, Great Falls National Park, VA
Not the most inspired post today, but nevertheless, I’ve been feeling quite a bit better and have been looking through some folders of images taken over the last couple of weeks. I thought the following photograph was an interesting cloud abstract. This image was taken at Great Falls National Park, Virginia the morning before a rainstorm, just as the clouds were starting to filter in. What I like about this photo are the leading lines of the clouds entering at the bottom and the intense blue at the top.

Hi Chris, stumbled on your blog and website via William Neill’s blog. You have some truly beautiful images. I enjoy this cloud abstract and agree with you about the leading lines - it has a really nice and simple feel to it.

Pretty clouds. I love how they fade from white at the bottom of the frame to blue near the top. I’m so glad you are feeling better too!
