Foggy Forest in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia
I ventured out to Shenandoah National Park yesterday to spend the day taking landscape photos. With the rain moving through, many portions of Shenandoah are high enough to be in the clouds, producing thick fog. This image was taken at one of my favorite forests in Shenandoah, near the northern portion of Skyline Drive. I love the way the trees are all perfectly straight and spaced really well. In addition to the fog, I also experienced 50mph winds, rainbows, thunder and lightning, being pelted by hail 2 miles from my car, and snow! It was a crazy day, and I can’t think of any other way I would have rather spent it.

Nice image Chris. Perfect placement of the trees. The fog really adds a sense of mystery. I wish I could have made it out this weekend, but my son has the flu and I had a boat load of other work to do. I might be heading to St. Micheals next weekend to shoot. If your interested in catching up and doing some shooting, let me know.
