Ice Abstract, Taft Bay Park, Oneida Lake - Part 2
This is another photograph from my sunset shoot a few days ago at Taft Bay Park on Oneida Lake. I liked the formations of the bubbles in the ice in this image, they remind me of photographs of nebulas taken by the hubble space telescope.

I think this is one of my favorite of your ice abstracts - the only one I might like more is the one with the three ribbons of varying ice patterns and I’m not even sure that beats this one for me. I reminds me of a nebula too! Great job with this series - beautiful detail, composition, and processing. I particularly like the composition and colors of this shot. Miss you!

Very cool capture Chris! To me this looks like a couple hugging in the snow. The man on the right and the woman on the left.

Hey Kim,
Didn’t see that before … now that’s all I see! Thanks a lot! Never would know if I hadn’t taken a modern art class this semester, but in the same theme as your hug I think it kind of looks like Klimt’s “The Kiss”. Although the man is on the left in that one. Aren’t I artsy?
