I was up and about at 4am this morning, and made a sunrise photography trip to Great Falls. The sunrise was understated but still beautiful. Lots of whispy pink clouds. Here is a vertical of the main falls incorporating the skies. The water is still brown and way up compared to most of our years past (drought), but in this image I think the more powerful water works well, even if it’s kind of brown in color!

Awseome (As usual) This is very nice and peacefull
Hey Chris,
Very beautiful. I like the reflected pink, and that ‘early morning hour’ look.
How tall are the main falls? Is the kayaker in the shot that you have on your site beside the rock on the right?
God bless,
Paul
Thanks Dominic!
Paul – thanks. The falls are maybe 20-30 feet, probably closer to 20. Yup, the one of the kayaker on my site is going over these falls … right down the middle.
Really nice. I love the flow to this image.
