Sorry for the lack of posts these past 3 days - I went up to New Jersey this weekend to visit my girlfriend. I did attempt to get some new images of Short-eared Owls and Northern Harriers at a location near her called the pole farm, but had no luck to speak of. The Short-eared Owls were still amazing, and just watching them was a real treat. For some new content today, I dug yet again into some old folders from my winter trip to Upstate New York and decided to process this image. Overall, I really like the color of the sky and the shapes in the foreground, I just wish there were some more clouds in the upper left portion. In retrospect, I should have taken a couple of steps to the left so that the dark clouds lined up in the middle of the frame. Always keep an eye out on the sky … it should be considered a crucial element of any composition.
